Das Pieces at the First Edition of Mercado Design Days

Das Pieces took part in the first edition of Mercado Design Days, held at Karaköy 212 Studio from 15–18 May 2025. The four-day event brought together designers, design studios and creative practitioners from a range of disciplines.

Curated by Mercado, the program was structured around the MDD #1 Design Exhibition, Mercado Stage and Designer Talks. The exhibition featured works across product design, furniture, fashion, materials, graphic design and typography, while the talks explored contemporary design practices and creative processes.

As part of the MDD #1 Design Exhibition, Das Pieces presented the ANKRAJ Collection. Produced using 3D printing technology and bio-based materials, the collection was exhibited as part of the curated design selection.

During the Designer Talks program, Fatma Sezgin Yayla, founder of Das Pieces, joined a panel discussion to share the studio's design approach, production process and ongoing practice.
